Weekend 23

This weekend was pretty fun. Friday night was the WY vs Curie basketball game! It was a lot of fun, but kind of sucked because we lost. I had to leave 53 seconds before the game ended and I was on the express way headed home when my friends are texting me that we are in overtime! When I left we were down by about 8 points and my parents were like oh the games over let's go. Then I get home and we are in the third over time and then the forth. Curie shot a three pointer and with only .29 seconds the Dolphins lost 66 to 69. Then Saturday morning I went to Ms. Biscuit for breakfast, yum! I went to an African furniture shop and bought my godmother a mask. I saw 3 Days to Kill, which was a great movie. It was not the typical CIA movie. Saturday night I went bowling with my dad, shot 5 games and a friend shot a 300! So my weekend was busy but exciting and now I have to memorize the rivers of the U.S.

Weekend 22

This weekend was a hectic weekend but it was a lot of fun! Friday after school I had a hair appointment across the street from Water Tower at 4. After that I had to rush home to get dressed for my friends' Winter Formal at Payton. We arrived at her dance at 8:05, fashionably late of course, but not on purpose. I got home an hour earlier than expected, which was great because I had to be up at 6:30 the next morning. Saturday was sectionals, I got a rough start with a 138, while another girl started with a 300! My next game was a 224 and then my last game before lunch was a 265. I shot three shots and then my fourth shot I got careful and got an eight, spared that, shot another six strikes, put the most beautiful ball out there and got an eight split, went for them both and got one. My last three games were 159, 184 or 188, and 171. On the great side I shot my first 600 series, on the bad side I was 100 pins away from state. So later that night I went to our Winter Formal and danced the disappointment away.

Weekend 21

So this weekend was the weekend of regionals! I was pretty excited about this I even bowled a 183 my first game but then things got rough the last five games and I could never get back that high again. I ended up making it to sectionals which is great, but if I really want to make it to state I'll have to step my game up. After bowling six games at town hall, I went with my dad to league and bowled 3 more games. I picked up the 7-6-10 split which was cool. Now I'm paying the price for over doing it because my neck's been hurting all day and it hurts to lift anything.

Weekend 20

This weekend was pretty busy but fun. I went the the Guys and Dolls dance show, it was pretty amazing! Each dance piece was unique and I really appreciated the fact that all of the dances were created by students. My tournament for Saturday got canceled which really sucked because I really wanted practice on the lanes. My lesson was canceled for today as well, so I haven't hit the lanes all weekend. Today we're also hosting our first Super Bowl party! And what's better than chili and pizza?!
